Yeah, I'm following the show. I want to binge it, just don't have the time.

I'll be there. I'll probably run some games for PostHuman Studios and am currently working out interviewing the folks at Darker Hue Studios for Technical Difficulties.

The Friz might be a Harry Potter wizard. Breaking all the rules about interacting with No-Maj though.

Who: Laura B. Alternately known as Alethea online. Sometimes. I've never been all that great about keeping one consistent persona for online and one for IRL
What: Technical Services Librarian — I call it the accountancy of librarianship; if you like the fiddly details it's a great job. Everyone else should run screaming for their own sanity. I also Podcast, write, and edit. More the editing than the writing lately.
When: 32. When did that happen?
Where: Washington DC.
Why: I love tabletop RPGs, and Actual Plays have become my main form of entertainment at work. DnU and RPPR got me to start my own podcast and get back into RPGs actually.

My close friends in college LOVE(D) the series and talked me into trying it out. After book 4 I said, 'you know, I don't think these are for me.' 'No, no, no, book 5 is awesome! Reread the series through there and if it's not your thing, we won't bug you about it again.'

And I did.

(It was not for me.)

My inner editor came out and wanted to reorganize somethings so they're talked about before they're cited in the rules, but that happens to pretty much anything I read. It reads like it'd be best as an in-person party game, kind of like Dread. Also, I'd be interested to test it out, so you've successfully pitched it.

General Discussion / WashingCon - DC Area - Sept. 10-11

If anyone will be in the DC area Sept. 10-11th, come check out WashingCon ( - my partner and I will be running Red Markets sessions. We're putting together a packet for GMs to introduce new players to the system at conventions and we would love more feed back. Also to meet fellow D&U fans!

As far as Edge though, I don't think it's saying too much to say we have more recorded than is up on the website.

YAY!! More Edge of Empire please!

any word on when it might hit the AP feed? THANK YOU!
