I like the idea of more people having DnU related phone tunes, personally I find my "Darkseeed" messenger tone is way less stressful than the standard option.

No offence taken here, I just love talking about 40k stuff, in fact it's the way I met with the guy who is now one of my best friends. I recommended this new campaign to him by saying that one member already took himself to zero hp with his own chainsword before any combat was even close, here's to your continued good luck Kevin ;D

40k leaves a ton of stuff vague on purpose, from the two lost Legions to the true plans of the Harlequins. What I'm interested to see is what you will do with the non-imperial remnants the explorers are sure to find among the Heathen Stars. These kinds of societies are always mentioned in the Horus Heresy stuff or as footnotes in codex but are not often explored in depth. I liked the hints of a creation myth on the murals. I'm guessing the building looks like a cathedral because that's what humans had been building for ages past?

I had no idea you guys were planning to go back to this system and setting but I'm so glad you did! Setup seems nice so far, I like the kinda in media res start with the trial. Characters seems good, interested to see where the first mission will go with that cliffhanger.

Also Max and anyone else, I know way too much about 40k despite never having played the TT so if you want to ask something lore related I'm always happy to answer  :D

That last episode was great, from Valetines "No use clinging to life if I'm going to stumble through it broken" to Declans past catching up with him, good roleplaying all around.

The only thing that puzzled me was Nadire immediately escalating to dismemberment. Felt like it clashed in tone with all her words about sin and not taking the easy path in the last session and no one from the rest of the crew seem particularity shocked either. Duels over this sort of thing aren't all that uncommon in the setting are they? Felt like walking into court and shooting the guard in the leg for not letting you interfere in the proceedings.

There was too much telling vs showing and most of it wasn't even competent telling

I think the later part of the game is one of few times I've sat basically dumbfounded from what I was seeing, pretty much the same as Manda and Sam.

Oh man, I was just making a dumb joke but you actually delivered, thanks! This will do well as a new notification to be clearer from the default beeps and bells.

I can totally see what you mean that the 2nd game went too far/ tried too hard. They chanced upon some unsettling athomosphere and some unintentional comedy and that is hard to replicate.

I have yet to watch that one, I could see that it could make for perhaps more serious conversations giving the themes of that game.

I have to say that it's a damn shame your LP channel doesn't have more views. I've been listening to the pokemon one and watching the Dark Cloud one while playing other games like Shadowverse and even though the gameplay of pokemon is not that interesting (you even admit it yourselves) the banter is 10/10. When I first heard Charlie in I think the 7th AP, I didn't know what to make of you but you're one hilarious dude and Matt you play the perfect straight man in the pair. Max is just there to suffer your tangents it seems  ;D
