Title: Post here if you are looking for a forum game, and what kind of games.
Post by: Webmetz on June 21, 2016, 12:36:32 AM
I might as well start it off here.

Post here if you are looking for a forum game, and what kind of games you are looking to play.
Perhaps we can get some good Play By Posts or Skype games started here.

Good luck everyone!

I'd be up for a forum game. I have a preference for management style games over character focused games. With either I would prefer a slower place because I would likely only be able to post once or twice a day due to work.

I keep meaning to finish up the freeform setting I was working on. If anyone is interested in a sci-fi freeform RP, I can see about requesting some sub-boards from Matt.

That said, I am always interesting in text RP. Maybe not a game, mind, but freeform RP is always a good time.

Just let me know what you need and I'll make it happen in a timely fashion.

Same applies to others who want some subboards for their thing.

Yeah, I'm still up for that forum game.

I'm free a lot of nights; I don't want to commit to a campaign at the moment but I'd be down for one shots. As a player I'm down for pretty much anything. As GM I'd be happy to run Red Markets once the new beta is released to backers and I'd be appreciative of Guinea pigs to play test theany of the legs, old or new, of Road Trip as I prepare to run a campaign of that for Technical Difficulties.

I'm generally down for trying out any voice based game if it's a one off, Monsters being a specialty of course. Longer games I would consider, but my schedule is a bit wonky at the moment, so I'm unlikely to commit to a stable campaign. You can find me on skype via the excessive name of Cure Fleet Admiral; Magical Space Princess to either chat one out or figure anything else.

All right, I think I've finished up with my text RP setting. Going to post it in this forum over the next hour.

Just and interest check to see if anyone would be interested in a 'we are our avatars' style game/rp based on the forum.

Pretty much exactly what it says on the tin, you play whatever your avatar is for the forum. Like right now, my avatar is one of my old characters, a music junkie with powers over the soul, so I would play him. If someone jumped into the thread with a teddy bear, they would play a sentient teddy bear, and so on and so worth.

Totally character driven, though it could turn/be more story's driven if people would be more interested in that

Well, I guess I have one person interested. I guess I'll throw it up and see what happens.

well, posted up an ad for it, but tossing out a Disney Villains Victorious game on here a thread or two down. alternate Disney timeline stuff where every villain turned out successful and it's up to a next generation of lesser known heroes to try to set things right in a world run by magical tyrants

Not sure if this has floated up into anyone's recognition yet, but at some point I'd like to give this game a shot, as, well, you can read for yourself.

It's called 'The Witch Is Dead' and it's a tale of cute woodland creatures seeking bloody revenge on the witch hunter who killed their friend.

Spoiler: show

Oh, also: ghost/echo (http://www.onesevendesign.com/ghostecho/). I think I finally know how you're supposed to run this game, and I'd love to try my hand at it someday.
