Title: American Turkey Day
Post by: Capman on November 25, 2016, 07:11:16 AM
The holiday is more specific to Americans but how has everyone's weekend been so far? Been spending more time with family this year and helping around the house before going to my brother's and sharing in the in-laws cooking and his collection of rare beers.

And now I'm waiting in line at a grocery store (have been for the last 4 hours) to get some Goose Island Bourbon County. The rest of the weekend is gonna be equally busy but less tedious.

Spent today working Black Friday, which was a complete ball of ass and dicks.

Currently drinking whiskey, eating pizza and watching a film with my feet soaking on water.

Highlight of the day.

Me: "Hey, you brought orange juice, can I have a bit?"
Other person at work: "Gonna be honest. It's mostly vodka in there."
Me: "...okay, but can I still have some?"

It was a stressful time for all involved.

yall don't even KNOW how much I love thanksgiving. Well, thanksgiving traditions... the holiday itself is p horrible. Had some thoughtful conversations with my family about the Standing Rock protests and such. Then ate a literal fuck ton of food and watched No Country for Old Men, which as we all know is a seminal thanksgiving movie (irony).

I watched True Lies with my family, another thanksgiving classic.
