There is no thread about the LP channel yet how is that possible?!!!
Anyway, discuss current LPs here, suggest games, talk about youtube, etc.

I'm definitely enjoying This War of Mine so far. Very dynamic game

I never really considered the LPs before but I know that was a mistake!
I've finished the MTG Shandalar thus far, sad it ended but I get why.
Currently watching Dark Forces II since it was one of my first real games growing up, lots of nostalgia (though I was maybe too young at the game to progress much without cheats). Sams hype for the new Star Wars brought a smile to my face, the chemistry between the three players is great so far.

I'm really digging the This War Of Mine LP chiefly because of the guys having genuinely interesting conversations about the conflict, crime, etc that flared up at around that time. I need to get through those Silent Hill vids at some point, too.

Thanks for the comments on This War. Generally, we're fairly light people, but hopefully we're ultimately respectful towards what was a notoriously horrible atrocity.

my dudes i am LOVING the swapper so far. I dig the aesthetic, the puzzles, the sentient rocks, and the slow unraveling of plot.

ok yeah the end definitely solidified my love for the swapper. that big ol' moral quandary of whether or not to swap at the end is great. I also really enjoyed the rock's commentary at the end, and I actually really liked their definition of death. And of course, Matt, Sam, and James make a great commentary team.
if i weren't so goddamned awful at puzzle games I would most definitely pick this one up.

Swapper was indeed great, can totally see the comparisiond to the Fall having watched that one first.
Commentary is on point and it's a shame they have relatively few views.

I just watched the Darkseed LP and now on ep3 of the second game and all I have to say is that I want you guys saying "DARKSEED!" as a multi-purpose soundbite.

Oh man, I was just making a dumb joke but you actually delivered, thanks! This will do well as a new notification to be clearer from the default beeps and bells.
I can totally see what you mean that the 2nd game went too far/ tried too hard. They chanced upon some unsettling athomosphere and some unintentional comedy and that is hard to replicate.

There was too much telling vs showing and most of it wasn't even competent telling

I think the later part of the game is one of few times I've sat basically dumbfounded from what I was seeing, pretty much the same as Manda and Sam.
